Prior to joining the Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, he was working at the American Hospital Dubai (2013-2018). Dr. Naji worked, since January 2011, as a Consultant Pediatric Surgeon at Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden. From September 2007 – December 2010, he worked as a Specialist Pediatric Surgeon at Akademiska University Hospital, Uppsala, Sweden. He is a member of several professional medical organizations in Sweden and Europe. He has a good experience in medical research and already published around 30 articles in peer reviewed medical journals. In addition to general pediatric surgery, Dr Naji has strong experience with neonatal surgery and laparoscopic pediatric surgery.

He is also an adjunct faculty member and Professor of Pediatrics at Khalifa University and a Professor of Pediatrics at Gulf Medical University. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Royal College of Physicians in Canada and has an honorary fellowship from the American Austrian Foundation. He is a member of the AAP and the American Board of Pediatrics. Also, an active member of the committee for Neonatal Resuscitation. He is a regional instructor for life support courses (NRP). He is an examiner at Khalifa Univ. Gulf Medical Univ. and in Pakistan. He established the first CME program in a hospital in Abu Dhabi. Currently, he is chairing the CME committee for the hospital He has vast experience (>25 yrs.) in medical education and visiting faculty in Pakistan and Canada. He is on the editorial board of online journals. He is the author of a chapter in a textbook on Neonatal ventilation. He also published extensively in some reputed journals. He is one of the main authors of the Neonatal Resuscitation Manual for Pakistan. Also published his booklet on Non-Invasive Ventilation of neonates. Marc Sinclair

Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedics & Spine Surgery | United Arab Emirates

Dr. Marc Sinclair is a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon working in Dubai since 2006. He is a full-time Consultant Pediatric Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon at Medcare Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital Dubai. He holds part-time positions at Mediclinic Parkview and Mubadala Health Dubai. He regularly visits Tbilisi, Georgia, as a Visiting Consultant. He completed Medical School at the University of Tübingen in Germany and obtained extensive training as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Germany and at the University Children’s Hospital in Basel, Switzerland. Given his interest in Orthopaedic conditions in children was awarded a Peabody Clinical Fellowship at Harvard University in Boston, USA, in 2001. In Boston, he had the opportunity to further his expertise in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. Returning to Germany in 2002, he was appointed Deputy Chief of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Department at the Altona University Children’s Hospital in Hamburg. Here he developed his main interest in Limb deformities and Spine Surgery. He introduced the Ponseti Method for clubfoot treatment to Germany and developed a department dedicated to the correction of Limb deformities. In 2006, Dr Sinclair moved to the United Arab Emirates as a Specialist Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon. His work experience includes working at renowned Dubai Hospitals as well as Founder and Medical Director of The Children’s Center in Dubai for 7 years. Dr. Sinclair has always shown great interest in teaching and has organized courses on Pediatric Orthopaedic Topics such as Clubfoot deformity and Hip dysplasia in the country. He is the initiator and a founding member of the Middle East Pediatric Orthopaedic Society. Yaser El Hout

Dr. Yaser El Hout is a Senior Pediatric Urologist at Sidra Medicine, Qatar. He completed his medical degree at the American University of Beirut and his Urology residency at AUBMC, followed by four years of research and clinical fellowships in Pediatric Urology at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto. He previously served as Chief of Pediatric Urology and Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at AUBMC, where he also directed the Urology training program. Dr. Malik completed her medical training in the United States. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). She received her medical degree from the prestigious Aga Khan University in Pakistan. This was followed by pediatric residency training at Duke University in North Carolina and a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Children’s Hospital of Montefiore in New York. She holds a master’s degree in clinical research, with distinction, from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, where her research thesis evaluated host immune responses to Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infections in young women. Dr. Malik has a keen interest in medical education and previously held the faculty position of AdjunctClinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and HealthSciences (MBRU) in Dubai, UAE, where she was involved in curriculum development and served as the program director of its Pediatric residency program. Dr. Malik is a medical volunteer with Operation Smile, an organization providing free surgeries for infants and children with cleft conditions worldwide. She has been an Internationally Credentialed Volunteer with Operation Smile since 2012. Dr. Malik also serves as the Pediatric Chair of the Medical Advisory Council of Operation Smile UAE, where she volunteers her personal time and expertise to provide free care to infants with cleft lip and palate, and is closely involved in mentoring and training staff and student volunteers. He joined the Pediatric team at Michigan state University and Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills Michigan as Assistant Clinical Professor and leading Pediatrician with extensive experience in outpatient and inpatient Pediatric care and teaching of medical students and residents through their Pediatric rotations for more than 16 years. Dr. Ziad moved to Dubai in 2012 and worked as a Consultant Pediatrician and a Medical director of one of the established clinics in Dubai Marina until he Joined King’s College Hospital London in August 2019 as a Consultant Pediatrician.
